Members can now display a slick, theme-able, iTunes gallery in their JomSocial member profiles. They can feature their iTunes activities, purchased music, movies, tv shows, highest reviewed media and more.

• Members can insert their My iTunes userids, and select their favorite theme colors and feed types.
• 5 different themes
• Tag cloud for favorite artists with thumbnail drill-in
• The gallery uses AJAX to fetch the media thumbnails 'on-demand' cutting down on initial profile page-load time
• Admin can re-size the gallery to their preference

USA only version

NON-USA version For non-USA My iTunes clients, Apple uses a different region code that has to be added to the app settings for each user if you plan to have members from all over the world joining. Which makes it slightly harder for them to configure. Instead of just getting their userid from the URL they will also have to get the numbers after the 'sf=' part of the URL to the left of user id.

Detailed instructions for getting setup for My iTunes:

member - 1. In iTunes 'store' menu click on 'View My Account, make sure My iTunes feeds are enabled by clicking on 'Manage My iTunes'.


member - 2. Click on get HTML code


member - 3. copy userid from the page URL in browser address bar




member - 4. enter the My iTunes userid into the profile application settings box by clicking the little gear icon in the application headerbar
